Terms of service.

Last updated 8 September 2026.

Draft for legal review: the bracketed items must be completed, and the whole text checked against the law of the country the service is sold from, before the first subscription is sold.

1. Who you are dealing with

Sorted is provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], [COMPANY NUMBER] ("we"). Contact: hello@sortedbot.com.

2. What the service is

An AI assistant that lives in your family chat and helps with calendars, reminders, lists, plans and messages. It is a convenience, not a professional service: it can misread a date, mishear a voice note or misjudge a suggestion. Check anything that matters, and never rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

3. Your account and your household

4. Plans, prices and payment

5. Cancelling within 14 days

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you may cancel a new paid subscription within 14 days of buying it for a full refund. Email hello@sortedbot.com with the address you paid with. By starting to use the paid features straight away you agree that we may deduct a proportionate amount for the days used.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the assistant to harass anyone, to send unsolicited email, to break the law, or to attack the service. Do not try to make it act on someone else's household. We may suspend an account that does.

7. Your data

Your data is yours. How we handle it is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. /delete erases everything at once.

8. Third-party services

The assistant works through Telegram and, if you choose, Google Calendar and Apple's App Store. Their terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability.

9. Our liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for a missed appointment, a booking made on a wrong date, or any other loss caused by acting on the assistant's output without checking it.

10. Changes and ending the service

We may change these terms or the plans; the assistant will tell you in your chat at least 30 days before a change that affects what you pay or get. If we ever close the service we will give at least 60 days' notice and refund any unused part of a yearly plan.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY], and disputes go to its courts, without affecting the consumer protections of the country you live in.
